School's Out, Tangier, Roberson © 2000On a bright April day in 2000, I was winding my way back down the hill from the Marshan neighborhood (location of the King's palace, Malcolm Forbes' former estate, the football stadium, Cafe Hafa, etc.) when these students burst out of the schoolyard and into the street. I like how their exuberance breaks the posture and quiet of the Marshan above -- and anticipates the cacophonous city center at the Grand Socco below.
